Finance Committee
The Vice President for the Finance Committee is responsible for the financial affairs of the Austin Human Resource Management Association (AHRMA). The Vice President of Finance ensures the receipt and bank deposit of Association monies, keeps an itemized record of receipts and disbursements; makes disbursements by check; and reports to the Board of Directors monthly, and the general membership once per year. The committee assists in reconciliation of accounts, overseeing the budget, and/or in whatever tasks might assist the Vice President in service to the Association.

Our Mission
The mission of the Vice President of Finance is to act as Financial Officer and Advisor to Chapter Board of Directors, providing oversight of financial operations and bookkeeping services provided by Coles Management Company. The Finance Committee ensures the fiduciary responsibilities of the chapter are fulfilled, and oversees and monitors collection and retention of forms and information at the Coles office as required by the Internal Revenue Service.
Objective
Ensure financial health and audit readiness of AHRMA.
Goals
- Annually publish the Profit and Loss Report to members of AHRMA
- Annually publish the Balance Sheet Statement to members of AHRMA
Committee Volunteer Opportunities
We are always seeking active volunteers for each area of the Finance Committee.
- Auditors - Assist in the auditing for monthly bank reconciliation.
- Other Volunteers - Needed to lend expertise and advise in the area of financial matters.
Finance Committee Programs

Acts as advisor to Chapter Board of Directors, providing oversight of financial operations and bookkeeping services provided by Coles Management Company and ensures the fiduciary responsibilities of the chapter are fulfilled. Oversees and monitors collection and retention of forms and information at the Coles office as required by the IRS, including the Profit & Loss Statement and the Balance Sheet.
